Guido Bonaudo, classe 1949, ha dedicato la sua vita artistica all’affresco. Affascinato dall’entità evocativa dei muri carichi d’anni, degli affreschi che vivono ancora oggi in virtù del loro diretto e immediato potere d’attrazione religiosa sugli animi semplici, come la semplice e immediata personalità di Guido. sono numerose le opere presenti in luoghi di culto riportanti la sua firma.
La sobrietà nell’esecuzione ha fatto si che, sempre più frequentemente, i suoi affreschi siano richiesti da architetti e committenti privati per essere inseriti nelle abitazioni, creando angoli suggestivi dal sapore antico.
di lui si scrive: "tecnica a fresco….. immediatezza di immagini, anche quando sono costruite per essere allocate in un contesto "restrittivo" non perdono la loro freschezza e spontaneità. tecnica ardita, operata su tela, ogni volta nuova e differente. soggetti sacri, mai uguali, ognuno con il proprio fascino, colpiscono per la ieraticità come se estraniati e nello stesso tempo perfettamente collocati nella cornice storica."

Guido Bonaudo, born in 1949, has devoted his artistic life to fresco painting.
He has long been fascinated by the powerful and immediate attraction of traditional religious frescoes, and he too has painted many works in places of worship.
The simplicity and restraint to be seen in his works have resulted in architects and private clients commissioning Bonaudo increasingly frequently to paint frescoes in private houses, creating areas of beauty redolent of the past.
It has been written of Bonaudo, ‘in his fresco technique … the pictorial immediacy, does not lose its freshness and spontaneity even when the work has been created for a "restricted" context. his technique is daring but each time new and different. his paintings of sacred subjects are never alike and each has its own appeal; their solemnity is their most striking feature, and each appears to have found its perfect historical setting."
